Job Description
Key Responisbilities:
Handle Sales Enquiries/Calls, extracting an accurate brief form information given by a potential customer, offering technical/commercial advice.
Cost out projects and quote to customer, using in-house software and expert advice.
Filing and maintaining customer information in an orderly and efficient system.
Keep up to date with changes to databases and company products.
Follow-up customer enquiries / quotations diarising further action.
Check cost given, ascertain margin for possible negotiation to close order.
Make prospect calls proactively basd on direction/information.
Take order and marry up with documentation to produce a final agreed quotation and pass to works dept and accounts dept.
Record Sales Order information
Answer phones / cover for other staff members and carry out other duties requested!
Ideally you will have a technical/mechanical or plumbing background.
Excellent communication skills essential as well as a being a strong team member!
