Job Description

Administrator Maternity Cover for the period: 26th April 10 to 26th November 10 (7 month contract) This is a busy and varied position for an experienced Administrator to provide essential support to the Engineerinig, Aerospace and Automotive recruitment teams of TAC Europe. Responsibilities include to: * Act as the main contact for the company by managing the switchboard, forwarding messages and handling queries when appropriate * Ensure CV\'s are entered on to Microdec and managed via Daxtra * Ensure contracts and accompanying documentation is sent out in a timely fashion * Ensure CV\'s are scanned entered onto Microdec * Advertise vacancies on subscribed websites and the TAC Europe website and update job boards as and when required * Manage and update Engineering, Auto and Aero compliance spreadsheet * Monitor contractor paperwork returns to ensure that all necessary documents are returned by contractors for compliance ie passport copies, COI/VAT Certificates etc and to chase as necessary * Manage ongoing contractor extensions utilising Microdec and raise relevant paperwork * Apply for contractor references; written or verbal on behalf of the Engineering recruitment group * Respond to external reference requests; written or verbal of behalf of the Engineering recruitment group * Produce internal correspondence for payroll/finance to process ie new starter forms, change forms etc. * Forwarding and distributing incoming post, faxes and emails, often corresponding on behalf of the Engineering recruitment group - producing documents/reports when required * Devising and maintaining office systems, including data management, filing, etc. * Maintain the holiday file and process leave bookings for the Engineering Aero and Auto recruitment groups * General administration support to the Business Group Manager as and when required * Any other adhoc duties as required. ______________________________________________________________ Candidate Requirements Essential * Relevant experience within a similar role, ideally within an administrative support role for a recruitment company/agency * Excellent telephone manner with strong communication skills (excellent written and spoken English) * Advanced working knowledge of the Microsoft office suite applications; Word, Excel and Outlook * Accuracy at all levels of work with excellent attention to detail * Ability to work unsupervised and take the initiative * Ability to work to deadlines * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate on all levels * Excellent organisation and administrative abilities ______________________________________________________________ Individual Qualities * Reliable, dedicated and professional approach * Tact and discretion, for dealing with confidential information * Approachable, positive and fair attitude * A flexible and adaptable approach to work * Ability to work under pressure Advantage Technical Resourcing is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
