Our client is seeking experienced candidates who have either a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background.
The Job.
They are looking for people with M&E experience and skills to assist in the delivery of ongoing projects and assisting facilities managers in O&M.
Controlling site works with other Clerks of Works and ensuring the programme is on track and advising the Project Manager accordingly.
Able to understand design drawings and interface with technical specifications.
Monitoring the construction site for safety and the works to the required standard. Be able to implement the Construction Specification and seek alterations as required.
To Manage all aspects of Work and Site Control for the Design and Construction phase of a project on behalf of the Project Manager.
Management of all onsite interfaces and de-conflict tasks and alleviate risks
Manage the appropriate Construction Safety Reports and Company Safety Instructions applicable to the site and Project scope.
Provide Input to feasibility Studies, Cost Plans, and Financial Models including Risk and Assumption analysis
Complete daily diary updates and highlight future possible issues
Background experience:-
Mechanical: HNC (HVAC) min
Authorised Person (not essential)
Electrical: HNC
17th Edition trained
BS 2391 (not essential)
Authorised Person (not essential)
Suitable Site Safety Training
CSCS minimum.
Full clean driving license
Own transport (this can be negotiated later)
Experience:
Minimum 5 years in trade stream.
Good Communication/writing skills
Good IT skills
Site experience
Contract knowledge
Knowledge of opposite stream.
Knowledge of HV systems (electrical)
Testing and Commissioning
